Senior Network Security Engineer

• Minimum 5 years of experience in network security and firewall administration.
• Strong skills in firewall policy implementation and access control management.
• Proven incident troubleshooting and resolution experience in enterprise environments.
• Experience with firewall technologies such as Palo Alto Networks and Fortinet.
• Familiarity with IT Service Management platforms like ServiceNow or equivalents.
• Solid understanding of networking, security architecture, and enterprise infrastructure.
• Experience with automation, scripting, or data analysis using Python and VBA.

• Review, validate, and implement network access and firewall requests following security policies.
• Configure, maintain, and optimize firewall rules in complex enterprise settings.
• Investigate and resolve network security incidents, connectivity, and policy issues.
• Provide technical expertise for infrastructure, security, and transformation projects.
• Ensure firewall configurations comply with organizational and industry security standards.
• Maintain accurate documentation of security settings, network flows, and procedures.
• Conduct traffic-flow analysis and support audits, compliance, and recertification.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance security and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional Agile teams.

Participation in an on-call rotation may be required. Experience in large-scale, highly regulated, or mission-critical environments is considered an advantage.
