Python Developer / Developerka

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience as Python Developer, Data Engineer, Data Developer, Data Scientist, or Analytics Engineer
• Strong practical experience developing and maintaining applications and processes using Python
• Commercial experience with Pandas and NumPy libraries for data processing, transformation, and analysis
• Ability to work with very large datasets, including billions of records and terabytes of data
• Skills in writing efficient and scalable Python code and optimizing data processing
• Experience building, developing, or maintaining data processing, ETL or ELT processes using Python
• Solid knowledge of SQL with practical experience on PostgreSQL
• Ability to write and optimize SQL queries and analyze performance issues
• Basic or good understanding of data partitioning and working with large tables
• Ability to analyze data processing problems, identify their sources, and diagnose issues across systems and data sources
• Capacity to independently diagnose problems and maintain production solutions

Nice to have:

• Experience with BigQuery
• Experience with cloud solutions, especially AWS and/or GCP
• Knowledge of other libraries and tools supporting data processing in Python
• Experience with financial data or knowledge of investment funds, especially ETF

• Work on projects based on Python, data warehouses, and systems processing very large volumes of information
• Join a new 5-6 person competency hub to assume full technical responsibility for a project from the Spanish team
• Co-develop a critical banking application responsible for revenues management and stock reconciliation in a unique multi-cloud (AWS and GCP) environment
• Develop competencies in data, data integration, and database solutions
• Address technological and developmental challenges in data and data analysis
