Quality Manager

ELESTER is part of the PGE group, the largest company in Poland in the power sector. ELESTER develops modern and innovative automation and remote control solutions in the railway sector, being the Polish leader in power supply protection automation for traction substations and control systems for railway and tram electrical power. They are developing a next-generation Radio Block Centre (RBC) for ERTMS/ETCS Level 2 that integrates AI technologies, 5G connectivity, and modern railway communication standards to advance intelligent rail transport in Europe.

• Proven experience in Quality Management within the automotive, railway, or aerospace industries.
• Knowledge of at least one standard: ISO 26262, CENELEC EN 50126/50128/50129/50126, or ASPICE.
• Strong knowledge of quality tools and methodologies, including FMEA (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and 8D Problem Solving.
• Good understanding of embedded systems development, software, and hardware engineering processes.
• Experience with ALM/PLM systems and handling highly complex technical documentation.
• Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• Strong interpersonal skills, assertiveness, problem-solving mindset, and high attention to detail.

Nice to have:

• Lead Auditor certifications such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or IRIS (International Railway Industry Standard) Lead Auditor.
• Hands-on experience with risk analysis methodologies including FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) and HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study).

• Development, implementation, and continuous improvement of quality management systems for advanced technology projects.
• Oversight of compliance processes related to stringent industry standards and functional safety requirements.
• Conducting internal and external audits and coordinating corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Collaborating closely with engineering, embedded systems design, and requirements management teams to ensure high-quality delivered solutions.
• Analyzing quality metrics, managing quality-related risks, and providing technical support for problem-solving and root cause analysis.
