Senior DevOps Engineer

TPConnects is an IATA-certified global travel content aggregation and distribution SaaS technology company part of Flight Centre Travel Group (FCTG). The company helps airlines and travel agencies distribute retail travel products through solutions built on IATA’s New Distribution Capability (NDC) Standard. The successful candidate will join an international team in Warsaw focused on platform and operations during a migration to Kubernetes, aiming to optimize system performance and service availability with a code-first infrastructure deployment approach.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to use diagrams and models.
• More than 5 years experience in software development or IT.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the DevOps cycle.
• Experience with Linux-based infrastructure.
• Good understanding of networking fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform/Terragrunt.
• Experience with observability tools such as Datadog.
• Experience working with microservice architectures.
• Excellent knowledge of practical AWS services.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.

Nice to have:

• AWS DevOps or Solution Architect certification.
• Experience with GDPR, PCI DSS, and PII data protection.
• Experience developing software in Java or other object-oriented languages.
• Problem-solving attitude and collaborative mindset.

• Work alongside Solution Architects and Developers to deliver complex solutions.
• Update and deploy infrastructure through IaC tooling such as Terraform and Terragrunt.
• Maintain and extend CI/CD platforms using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
• Design solutions ensuring high availability, resiliency, and regulatory compliance.
• Provide advice and support on cloud infrastructure and container/Kubernetes best practices.
• Provide operational support, investigate system issues, and ensure solution uptime.
• Conduct root-cause analysis to prevent repeated incidents.
• Alert stakeholders proactively during outages.
• Track system performance against KPIs and metrics.
• Perform code reviews to guide and support team members.
• Mentor junior team members and share knowledge to improve methodology and tools.
• Stay up to date with technology and industry developments.
