Engineering Manager

TPConnects is a leading international travel tech product company with headquarters in Dubai, an office in Warsaw, and remote locations including a growing tech hub in Sofia. Their platforms process millions of ticket purchases monthly, connecting airlines and powering digital retailing for airline providers, supported by significant usage of AI.

• Proven experience leading and developing software engineering teams.
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
• Experience hiring, supporting career growth and managing performance.
• Ability to create a collaborative, high-performing engineering culture.
• Strong software engineering background, ideally with Java or similar backend technologies.
• Experience building cloud-native SaaS applications.
• Solid understanding of microservices, distributed systems and API-driven architectures.
• Experience working with cloud platforms (preferably AWS).
• Strong understanding of software architecture, engineering quality and delivery practices.

Nice to have:

• Experience in travel technology or airline distribution.
• Knowledge of IATA standards such as NDC, OneOrder or ARM.
• Experience leading distributed or international engineering teams.
• Interest in AI-assisted software development and modern engineering practices.
