ASTEK Polska is hiring an IT Analyst for hybrid work in Warszawa, Poland. The role involves work on international projects.

• Experience as IT Analyst, System Analyst, API Analyst, or similar.
• Proficient in analysis and mapping of data.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Experience in designing or documenting APIs and service contracts.
• Knowledge of contract-first approach.
• Ability to define business rules, request/response examples, and acceptance criteria.
• Experience working between business, consumer teams, and source systems.
• Familiarity with XML, XSLT, JSON, and Avro.
• Ability to analyze complex data flows and transformation rules.
• Clear communication and collaboration skills with multiple stakeholders.
• Knowledge of custody / securities services / safekeeping domain.
• Experience with custody positions, subpositions, reservations, and corporate actions.
• Agile/SAFe experience and participation in PI Planning.
• Knowledge of API-based and event-driven/data-driven system architecture.

• Analyze and organize business requirements, data models, system flows, and dependencies between systems.
• Translate business requirements into clear technical designs, API contracts, and tasks for development teams.
• Design and document service contracts within the STO Domain API, including defining data transformation rules and business logic.
• Collaborate with source systems and data producers, primarily the safekeeping system, using a contract-first API approach.
• Define data mappings and maintain the canonical data model.
• Analyze dependencies between consumer systems, business, and source systems.
• Translate business rules into specific examples, scenarios, and acceptance criteria.
• Prepare and agree on correct API request and response examples.
• Identify, report, and coordinate requirements during Quarterly / PI Planning.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, developers, source teams, and API consumers.
• Analyze and model data in XML, JSON, and Avro formats and work with XSLT transformations.
