Level Designer

• Experience in Level Design with mastery of 3D level design tools
• Solid knowledge of game editors such as Unreal Engine 4/5
• Strong creative skills
• Attention to quality and detail, both creatively and technically
• Understanding of gameplay densities and spaces, ability to work with level artists to unify elements
• Excellent organization and communication skills
• Ability to work self-directed when necessary
• Excellent knowledge of the video game industry
• Ability to empathize with players' perspectives

• Own the part of level plays in the overall game experience based on the creative director’s vision
• Work with other disciplines and level artists to ensure playability of the level and graphic elements support each other
• Contribute and create level layouts
• Build, script, and tune levels to final quality
• Place and trigger entities such as movers, objects, obstacles to create engaging gameplay
• Oversee and maintain the design of levels by providing support and feedback to reach quality, core mechanics, and vision
• Monitor and refine accessibility, playability, and level of difficulty
• Develop topological and event continuity for levels
• Contribute to prototyping, scenario creation, event scripting, game balancing, pacing, and gameplay tuning
• Help improve game quality through constant playtesting, feedback aggregation, and prioritization of actionable items
• Collaborate with other designers to develop and maintain a beat chart for game experience
