Cloud Operations Manager

INFOPLUS TECHNOLOGIES is building cloud foundations that power a global business. The role focuses on developing processes, standards, and technical capabilities for applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, and Microsoft Azure.

• Experience as an Operations Manager in an enterprise organization
• Managed teams of at least 10 people
• Knowledge of Non-Functional Requirements and enterprise risk management
• Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP), AWS, and Microsoft Azure, including infrastructure build and configuration of Compute, Containers, Container OS and orchestration (Docker, COS, GKE), Storage, IAM, SDN (VPC, XPN)
• Experience in Continuous Integration (CI), Continuous Delivery (CD), and continuous testing
• Understanding of physical and software-defined networks, Identity and Access Management principles, role-based access controls, organizational hierarchies, operating systems, and container technologies
• Experience working in global, cross-functional service management teams and managing multiple support groups
• Experience in enterprise Financial Services is required
• Strong customer and stakeholder focus with leadership and teamwork skills in agile environments
• Experience with operational effectiveness, design pattern alignment, security, risk, and regulatory standards
• Track record of continuous improvement and successful change implementation
• Able to set and achieve challenging goals
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with management reporting and budget planning

Essential skills:

• AWS, GCP, and/or Azure certifications
• People management skills including objective setting and performance reviews
• Experience dealing with IT Audit, Security, Risk, and stakeholder management
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Desirable skills:

• Professional certifications in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP
• Technical knowledge across Directory Services, Google Identity, physical networking, firewalls, SDN, XPN, billing, operating systems, containers, and GCP resource hierarchy
• Experience in highly regulated industries such as Financial Services

• Manage direct reports, including role definition, hiring, objective setting, performance reviews, and ratings
• Define and refine the scope of support provided by the Cloud Operations team
• Own management reporting against KPIs and SLAs and track progress on key initiatives
• Own and manage escalations
• Train and develop a globally distributed, highly technical team
• Ensure non-functional and Business Continuity Planning (BCP) requirements meet business needs
• Ensure the cloud platforms meet operational risk frameworks and governance standards
• Represent platform teams in discussions with internal IT partners and cloud providers (Google, AWS, Azure)
• Maintain internal engineering knowledge bases and records of key decisions
• Gather requirements and provide continuous feedback between customers and Operations teams

Collaboration:

• Work closely with Service Management to maintain robust support processes
• Partner with Cloud Product Management to create feedback loops for customer requirements
• Align with Security and Operational Compliance leads to ensure platform security and risk compliance
• Collaborate with Cloud Technical Architects on design decisions, strategy, and architecture
