Automation QA Senior Engineer

We are partnering with a pioneering industry leader in the gaming and systems sector. The Customer designs and delivers premium game content, award-winning systems, and hardware cabinets to provide world-class gaming experiences. Their platform ecosystem includes mobile, web, microservices, and API-driven applications requiring continuous automation and scalable testing infrastructure across distributed environments.

• Strong experience building automated test scripts with frameworks such as Selenium, Appium, TestComplete, and RESTful API automation tools.
• Proven expertise in Java programming.
• Ability to design and execute automated tests for native mobile (including XCUITest, Espresso) and web applications.
• Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Gradle, Maven and proficiency with Git/Gitflow.
• Solid knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, Azure, containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), and microservices testing strategies.
• Understanding of SDLC/STLC, BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin), and defect tracking tools like Jira.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Nice to have:

• ISTQB/ISEB Advanced Level certification or Cloud certifications (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Experience in game development environment or mobile gaming industry.
• Knowledge of Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and monitoring/logging tools (New Relic, Prometheus, ELK stack).

Framework Design & Development:

• Design, develop, script, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test suites for mobile, web, RESTful APIs, and microservices.

CI/CD Integration & Environment Setup:

• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines.
• Set up and manage test execution environments including distributed testing with Playwright, Selenium Grid, or similar tools.

Test Execution & Defect Analysis:

• Execute test suites, analyze results, debug defects, and provide detailed reporting.

Agile Ceremonies & KPIs:

• Participate in agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute to defining and monitoring KPIs for automation testing.

Documentation & Distributed Collaboration:

• Develop documentation for automation frameworks, test plans, and execution results.
• Collaborate effectively with distributed teams across multiple locations.
