Backend Engineer | Mid - Senior | Go | Payments Team

Nord Security develops the world’s most advanced VPN and related security tools, including Threat Protection Pro and the NordLynx protocol, focusing on privacy, security, and control for users.

• Proven experience working with Golang
• Experience working with PHP
• Proven experience building microservices and knowledge of microservices patterns
• Understanding of OOP principles and good code design
• Knowledge of API design
• Good knowledge of (My)SQL
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, and Redis is a plus
• Experience with Git

• Design, build, and maintain APIs, services, and systems in the Payments infrastructure
• Write high-quality, tested, maintainable, and documented code that performs well under load
• Work with different payment methods worldwide
• Integrate new service providers with distinct code and functionality
• Improve engineering standards, tooling, and processes
• Collaborate with team members, QA, DevOps, and security teams daily
• Mentor colleagues and provide technical guidance
• Perform R&D and address new and challenging problems
• Demonstrate ownership of tasks from start to finish
• Continuously learn and grow professionally
