Wymagania

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field.
  • 8-10 years of experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar technical role.
  • At least 5 years of strong experience building production systems using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Minimum 3 years of proven engineering leadership managing high-performing teams.
  • Solid grasp of Agile methodologies, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, and iterative delivery.
  • Ability to translate complex product requirements into well-structured EPICs, user stories, and tasks.
  • Strong backend engineering expertise; exposure to frontend technologies is a plus.
  • Experience with project planning and tracking tools for managing delivery timelines.
  • Familiarity with engineering, product health metrics, and monitoring tools.
  • Hands-on capability to debug complex production issues, lead incident response, and conduct blameless RCA.
  • Good understanding of modern deployment practices, including CI/CD pipelines and release management.
  • Ability to drive alignment across cross-functional technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent risk management, dependency tracking, and stakeholder communication skills.
  • Proven track record of improving team velocity, delivery predictability, and engineering excellence.

Obowiązki

  • Own end-to-end delivery and execution across cross-functional teams within the product area, ensuring predictable and high-quality outcomes.
  • Evaluate business and product requirements for technical feasibility and architectural alignment, translating them into EPICs and technical user stories.
  • Partner closely with Product Managers, UX Designers, and Engineers to refine, groom, and prioritize the backlog.
  • Plan and drive sprint execution with defined goals, using project planning tools to establish timelines, milestones, and surface dependencies early.
  • Champion engineering processes and rituals that enable collaboration, accountability, and efficiency.
  • Monitor team velocity and capacity to optimize resource allocation and balance bandwidth against delivery commitments.
  • Coordinate cross-team dependencies and stakeholder alignment to remove bottlenecks and maintain smooth execution.
  • Stay hands-on in critical initiatives by guiding design decisions, enforcing sound design patterns, and participating in code reviews.
  • Ensure robust monitoring, alerting, and observability for all owned services, meeting defined SLIs and SLOs.
  • Partner with Product Managers to define, track, and publish post-release product metrics for transparency and continuous improvement.
