Application Support Engineer (Supporting US and Asia-Pacific Markets)

Tap.Talent is recruiting for a US-based technology company delivering advanced solutions for electronic and algorithmic trading. The role involves supporting clients across different time zones including the US and Asia-Pacific in a highly specialised technology environment.

• Experience in Technical Support, Application Support, or similar technical role
• Solid experience with MS Windows environments
• Experience with scripting languages
• Practical SQL experience or willingness to develop it
• Fluent English and confident in client communication
• Enjoy troubleshooting and root cause analysis
• Analytical, detail-oriented, and self-motivated
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks
• Comfortable working afternoon/evening and night shifts
• Interest in financial technology and electronic trading

Nice to have:

• Linux experience
• Additional SQL experience
• Experience with AI tools and automation
• Familiarity with financial, banking, or trading environments
• Bachelor's degree in a technical or analytical field
