Solution Architect

• Degree in IT or engineering disciplines
• 5+ years experience designing cloud application architectures
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
• Knowledge of cloud-native architectures (microservices, serverless, API, event-driven)
• Knowledge of enterprise relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle, PostgreSQL)
• Knowledge of modern languages (e.g. Java, Python, Node.js)
• Experience in distributed systems and integration (Kafka, RabbitMQ)
• Good knowledge of the English language

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of IBM AS/400 (iSeries), COBOL, RPG environment
• Experience in legacy modernization projects (Strangler Pattern, DDD)
• Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure, GCP)
• Familiarity with AI tools and digital innovation
• Experience in complex enterprise contexts

Architecture Vision & Strategy:

• Define and govern the target application architecture from a cloud-native perspective
• Support modernization strategy of legacy systems (AS/400 – iSeries)
• Translate business objectives into architectural solutions
• Ensure consistency with enterprise standards and IT roadmaps

Solution Design & Modernization:

• Design migration strategies from legacy environments (COBOL/RPG) to cloud platforms
• Define architectural patterns (microservices, event-driven, API-first)
• Evaluate and select cloud technologies and services (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Produce architectural documentation (HLD, LLD, C4 diagrams, ADR)

Development & Delivery Support:

• Collaborate with development teams in Agile or hybrid contexts
• Promote best practices (CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code, DevOps)
• Ensure quality, scalability, and security of solutions

Stakeholder & Change Management:

• Interact with IT and business stakeholders translating requirements into technical solutions
• Collaborate with AS/400 team facilitating skills transfer
• Drive technological change in complex contexts
• Facilitate decision-making and strategic alignment

Operations, Quality & Governance:

• Define architectural standards and oversee governance
• Ensure compliance with security, performance, and compliance requirements
• Support evolutionary management of applications
• Monitor and improve solution effectiveness
