Senior ATQC Engineer – Testing & Quality Control

The role is focused on defining and executing the testing process and quality control of IT systems supporting programs financed by the European Union. The project is conducted for a European public sector organization. Responsibilities cover hands-on testing, test strategy, quality assurance, defect analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement of quality processes.

• Bachelor's degree or minimum 3 years of higher education
• At least 12 years of professional IT experience
• Minimum 4 years of experience in EU Cohesion Policy and Structural Funds including at least two among ERDF, ESF+, Cohesion Fund, Just Transition Fund
• At least 8 years of experience in IS testing
• At least 8 years of professional experience with Java, Jira, SQL, Postman, and SoapUI
• At least 7 years of experience with Selenium, Git, JavaScript
• At least 4 years of experience with Camunda
• Very good command of English (C1+)
• Good command of French (B1+)
• Excellent skills in preparing clear, organized, and comprehensive reports
• Very good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
• Experience working in international and multicultural teams
• Willingness to participate in meetings conducted in multiple languages
• Ability to quickly learn new applications and environments
• Capability to work both independently and in a team

Nice to have:

• Experience with test management tools such as TestRail, Zephyr Scale
• Experience with defect tracking tools like Jira or Azure DevOps, including severity, priority, and workflow states
• Experience performing functional, regression, and UAT testing with test evidence documentation and defect reproduction
• Knowledge of manual test design techniques: Equivalence Partitioning, Boundary Value Analysis, State Transition Testing, Exploratory Testing
• Knowledge of defining and verifying acceptance criteria
• Experience preparing test data with SQL
• Experience reporting test results using dashboards and maintaining regression suites
• Experience preparing and conducting presentations at management/executive level justifying quality recommendations
• ISTQB certification, e.g., CTFL, Agile Tester, or Mobile Application Tester

• Defining test plans and test cases based on business and technical requirements
• Analyzing requirements to identify test conditions and preparing comprehensive test cases with clear acceptance criteria
• Performing manual testing to confirm functionality meets requirements
• Collaborating with Developers and Business Analysts to reproduce, isolate, and resolve defects
• Creating test scenarios and scripts and executing tests
• Coordinating test campaigns including integration, security, load, and performance testing
• Defining, developing, managing, and reporting on all aspects of test quality, including strategy, plans, and results
• Creating and maintaining IS Quality Control procedures
• Developing and maintaining comprehensive Quality Assurance plans
• Participating in defining Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Key Performance Indicators (KPI)
• Conducting quality control and assessment activities including audits, process reviews, and metrics analysis
• Analyzing defect metrics and quality trends to identify root causes
• Recommending quality improvements and supporting process development with development teams
