Senior Software QA Engineer

Smart4Aviation develops smart web-based applications that optimize, simplify, and improve airline operations in the global aviation market.

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience testing web/mobile applications, services, and data integration layers.
• 3+ years of experience developing automated tests within agile development.
• Strong experience with QA tools such as JMeter, Gatling, Selenium WebDriver, Appium, JUnit, TestNG, REST-assured, SOAP UI, OWASP ZAP, Docker, Git, Gerrit, Jira, Jenkins, and Maven.
• Very good Java development skills.
• Very good scripting skills in at least one of: Python, Groovy, or Bash.
• Very good SQL skills (Oracle/MSSQL).
• Ability to dive into codebases for investigation.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
• Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-changing environment.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• English (B2 or higher) and fluent in Polish.

• Work independently and guide other QA team members on test automation strategies and best practices.
• Create and maintain reusable frameworks for functional, regression, and integration testing.
• Implement procedures, tools, and techniques for automated testing.
• Use automation to create and maintain test data.
• Apply software testing principles and best practices across projects.
• Identify and prioritize product areas for automation.
• Contribute to team and company progress to ensure timely delivery of quality software.

This is a 9-month contract position with a start date in November.
