DevOps Engineer (Mid-Level)/ OpenShift

ConSol* Consulting & Solutions Software Poland Sp. z o.o. offers a technically challenging environment working with enterprise-scale Red Hat OpenShift platform in an on-premises environment, supporting a broad range of Red Hat technologies in an international and collaborative setting.

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience managing Red Hat OpenShift clusters.
• Practical experience with OpenShift cluster administration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and incident resolution.
• Experience working with Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform in an on-premises environment.
• Good understanding of Kubernetes concepts and architecture.
• Experience with Argo CD and GitOps principles.
• Good understanding of Linux and container technologies.
• Experience with CI/CD concepts and automation.
• Basic to intermediate Python scripting skills.
• Experience with troubleshooting and resolving infrastructure or platform incidents.
• Ability to communicate effectively with Red Hat Support and external technical support teams.
• Willingness to participate in half-day incident support shifts.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.
• English – good working proficiency, including the ability to discuss technical issues with Red Hat Support.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Tekton Pipelines.

• Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot Red Hat OpenShift Container Platform clusters in an on-premises environment.
• Support the operation, maintenance, and lifecycle management of OpenShift clusters.
• Investigate and resolve complex OpenShift platform issues.
• Work directly with Red Hat Support to troubleshoot and resolve OpenShift-related incidents and technical issues.
• Open, manage, and follow up on Red Hat support cases, providing required logs, diagnostics, and technical information.
• Collaborate with Red Hat engineers during troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Work with OpenShift Virtualization.
• Manage and support Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation (ODF).
• Work with Red Hat Advanced Cluster Management (ACM).
• Implement and maintain GitOps workflows using Argo CD.
• Develop and maintain Tekton Pipelines for internal container image building.
• Develop and maintain Python scripts for GitOps API automation.
• Troubleshoot platform, infrastructure, and application-related issues.
• Participate in Incident Management and resolve operational tickets.
• Take part in half-day incident support shifts as part of the team.
• Automate repetitive operational tasks and contribute to continuous platform improvements.
• Ensure documentation remains updated and accurate.
