Senior Embedded Software Engineer – C++

IT Talento is part of the HICRON Group, an organization supporting companies in technology projects, digital transformations, SAP system development, and IT solutions. The group consists of about 1000 experts and consultants who work on projects in Poland and abroad, including SAP implementations, migrations to SAP S/4HANA, dedicated app and system development, integration projects, IT environment modernization, and business automation and transformation initiatives. They serve various market sectors such as production, automotive, energy, chemistry, and FMCG, enabling specialists to gain experience in diverse technological, business, and project environments.

• Minimum 5 years of experience in C++ and embedded/firmware software development.
• Very good knowledge of C++ and full software development lifecycle.
• Experience in designing, developing, and debugging embedded systems/firmware.
• Knowledge in at least one of the following areas: TCP/IP / Ethernet network protocols, embedded systems architecture, or real-time operating systems RTOS (e.g., QNX, VxWorks).
• Experience with GitHub/GitLab and CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins).
• Ability to write unit and integration tests.
• English language proficiency at B2+ level.

• Develop and maintain embedded software for industrial automation solutions.
• Create new features including network communication, controller runtime environment, and system/platform layers.
• Diagnose errors, debug software, and solve complex system-level issues.
• Prepare and enhance unit and integration tests, working within CI/CD environments.
• Participate in defining solution architecture and analyzing technical requirements.
• Ensure code quality through code reviews and prepare technical documentation.
• Provide mentoring and support to less experienced team members.
• Collaborate in an international environment.
