Java Integration Developer

PKO Finat Sp. z o.o. is the employer offering the role in Warsaw, Poland.

• Minimum 5 years commercial experience in Java programming
• Very good knowledge of Java 17+
• Practical experience designing and implementing applications with Spring Boot 3 or Spring Cloud
• Practical experience with Apache Camel 4
• Strong knowledge of Enterprise Integration Patterns (EIP)
• Experience designing synchronous and asynchronous integrations
• Experience integrating systems using SOAP, REST, JMS, and message brokers
• Understanding of integration reliability, error handling, idempotency, and transactional issues
• Knowledge of distributed systems architecture and application integration
• Very good knowledge of PostgreSQL and SQL
• Experience working with Docker
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes
• Experience creating and maintaining unit and integration tests
• Knowledge of HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, and secure communication between systems
• Knowledge of SOLID principles, design patterns, and good programming practices
• Independence in problem analysis and technical solution design

• Design and implement applications based on Spring Boot 3 or Spring Cloud
• Design and implement integration solutions using Apache Camel 4
• Implement synchronous and asynchronous system integrations
• Integrate systems using SOAP, REST, JMS, and message brokers
• Ensure reliability and error handling of integrations including idempotency and transactional integrity
• Maintain system architecture knowledge of distributed systems and application integration
• Create and maintain unit and integration tests
• Collaborate in Scrum teams

Nice to have:

• Experience with OpenShift / OKD
• Experience with Apache Kafka, ActiveMQ Artemis, or other message brokers
• Experience in microservice architecture
• Knowledge of Event Driven Architecture
• Experience in designing integration platforms or service buses
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools
• Experience with Helm and GitOps
• Experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK
• Skills in analyzing and optimizing integration process performance
• Knowledge of integration security and OWASP guidelines
