Principal Data Engineer with GCP

• Minimum 8 years of experience as Data Engineer, Lead Data Engineer, or Data Architect
• Very good knowledge of Python and SQL
• Advanced knowledge of Spark/PySpark
• Strong experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud data engineering
• Experience designing data architecture
• Familiarity with Databricks and/or Snowflake
• Practical knowledge of data quality, data governance, metadata management, and analytics & reporting
• Experience with modern Data Engineering tools and solutions

Nice to have:

• Experience with Power BI, Qlik, Apache Superset
• Consulting experience
• Knowledge of Data Science

• Designing and optimizing data platform architecture
• Creating frameworks and solutions for data processing
• Designing scalable Data Engineering solutions on GCP
• Translating business requirements into architectural decisions
• Collaborating with business and engineering teams
• Developing standards for data quality, metadata management, and governance
