Mid/Senior C++/C#/CAD Software Developer – Shipbuilding

You will join a team developing software solutions for the shipbuilding and industrial engineering sectors. The projects include components of the OpenPDM SHIP integration platform as well as customized solutions developed to meet specific customer requirements. The role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of software development, CAD, and engineering, contributing to solutions that support modern ship design and production processes.

• Professional experience in C++ and/or C# development.
• Good understanding of software development processes, including specification, design, and implementation.
• Knowledge or practical experience with CAD.
• Experience working in agile software development teams.
• Ability to understand complex technical requirements and translate them into software solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-oriented approach and the ability to work independently.
• Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
• Willingness to attend a 2–3-week training course in Hamburg and make short, regular business trips to Hamburg.

Nice to have:

• Experience in the shipbuilding, naval architecture, industrial engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
• Knowledge of shipbuilding processes, including design, engineering, and manufacturing workflows.
• Experience with software used in ship design or production environments.
• Knowledge of Java.
• Experience with PLM/PDM systems or CAD integration.
• Knowledge of German.

• Developing customized software solutions based on customer requirements.
