Senior Java Developer

• Must have experience with Java 21
• Proficient with Spring Boot 3.x
• Experience designing and developing REST API
• Skilled in Maven, Git, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Knowledge of unit tests, component tests, and BDD frameworks such as Cucumber and Spock

Nice to have:

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines
• Familiarity with Redis, Helm, ArgoCD, Cassandra
• Knowledge of Vavr, Lombok, and SonarQube
• Experience in hexagonal architecture / SPI
• Understanding of Cryptography

Additionally:

• Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Kafka, RabbitMQ
• Knowledge of Azure AKS, Key Vault, and Workload Identity
• Mentoring and conducting code reviews

• Write software code using programming, scripting, and database languages to meet requirements and optimize performance
• Identify and reuse existing software components, libraries, and frameworks
• Apply software development best practices including coding standards, secure coding, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations
• Contribute to requirement analysis and estimations
• Support software testing, deployment, maintenance, and evolution through bug fixing and enhancements
• Build software structure including functions, design patterns, and layers
• Document and demonstrate solutions with code comments, layouts, diagrams, and charts
• Contribute to software architecture including specification analysis and technology assessment
• Code large and complex modules within agreed parameters
• Perform design and code reviews and assess software performance optimization
• Contribute and promote organization’s technical governance
• Produce quotations and perform complex troubleshooting
• Coach and potentially manage a small team of Software Development Engineers

The position is based in Łódź, Poland, employing a hybrid work model requiring at least three visits per week to the office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Full on-site work is also possible.
