Software Engineer

BlackLine is a technology-based company operating in Finance Automation.

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and React.
• Practical hands-on experience with backend services in Java.
• Experience with cloud-native architecture, especially GCP or comparable platforms.
• Real-world exposure to CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) and infrastructure as code like Terraform.
• Solid understanding of full SDLC.
• Familiarity with build tools like Webpack and npm.
• Strong problem-solving skills and proactive learning attitude.

• Develop and maintain a shared React-based component library, building new components and enhancing existing ones.
• Contribute features and improvements to the React-based micro-frontend App Shell.
• Participate in migration from legacy (.NET) applications to modern React micro-frontend architecture.
• Implement and maintain backend services in Java, including production logic.
• Work with cloud-native architecture (GCP), configure and monitor CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions), and perform cloud deployments using Terraform.
• Write clean, maintainable front-end code and unit and integration tests.
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with other developers.
• Troubleshoot front-end issues and support backend API debugging.
