Release Engineer

• Proven hands-on experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting CI/CD pipelines (e.g., TeamCity, Jenkins, GitHub Actions).
• Fluency in Kotlin or Java.
• Practical experience with Gradle or similar build systems.
• Familiarity with Linux environments and shell scripting.
• Experience using issue tracking tools like YouTrack or Jira.
• Professional fluency in written and spoken English.
• Experience with large-scale monorepo builds, the JetBrains toolchain (TeamCity, YouTrack), plugin compatibility testing, or multi-product release pipelines is a plus.

• Design, configure, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to keep releases reliable and repeatable.
• Manage branching strategies, coordinate code freezes, and handle hotfix releases.
• Diagnose pipeline failures and resolve build bottlenecks before they affect delivery.
• Automate repetitive release tasks and improve YouTrack workflows for better issue tracking.
• Gather requirements from development teams to improve tooling.
• Communicate process changes to stakeholders and support teams.
• Lead retrospectives after incidents to refine release processes.
