Engineering Manager (Kierownik / Kierowniczka Zespołu Technologii Biznesowych)

• Minimum 3 years experience as a developer (preferred .NET Core, Kotlin, Angular) plus at least 2 years as an Engineering Manager or Tech Lead.
• Active coding experience including code review and architectural decision analysis.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, GitHub Actions, and ArgoCD.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and security-by-design.
• Ability to collaborate with Product Managers and translate business needs into technical tasks.
• Familiarity with Scrum/Kanban methodologies and tools such as Jira and Linear.
• Experience with message brokers like RabbitMQ or Apache Kafka.
• Good knowledge of databases like MSSQL, PostgreSQL and migration tools such as Liquibase.
• Interpersonal skills including communication, conflict resolution, and feedback.
• Passion for application security and high-quality engineering culture.

• Lead and develop a development team (frontend, backend, quality assurance, support) within the domain.
• Collaborate actively with the Product Manager for sprint planning and backlog prioritization.
• Oversee maintenance, development, and security of team-owned components.
• Continuously improve maintenance and release processes, including SDLC enhancements, automation, and MTTR reduction.
• Enhance service availability by defining and achieving SLO/SLA targets.
• Co-create business-technical monitoring by defining metrics, alerts, and dashboards.
• Participate in recruitment and onboarding of new team members.
• Implement engineering work standards such as coverage, linting, security gates, and dependency management.
• Identify and eliminate technical debt in collaboration with SEL.
• Monitor and optimize team quality and performance metrics (DORA metrics).
• Challenge architecture by proposing alternatives and assessing technical risks.
• Support team adoption of new tools and frameworks including Astro, Kotlin, Liquibase, and PostgreSQL.
