Trainee Data Engineer (with German)

• Knowledge of Python, SQL, and experience with Pandas or NumPy libraries
• Understanding of database fundamentals including types of relationships, ACID principles, and differences between relational and NoSQL databases
• Knowledge of Big Data concepts such as OLAP vs OLTP, ETL vs ELT, Data Warehouse, Data Lake, and Data Lakehouse
• Understanding data modeling approaches including Inmon vs Kimball vs Data Vault, Star/Snowflake schemas, Fact/Dimension tables, Slowly Changing Dimensions, and Data Marts

Advantages:

• Familiarity with data formats like CSV, JSON, Parquet, ORC, Avro, Delta Lake, Iceberg, and Hudi
• Experience with Big Data frameworks such as Spark, Airflow, Kafka, or DBT
• Understanding of Cloud technologies and their practical applications
