Staff Analytics Engineer

Saily is a company providing secure mobile data services in 200+ destinations with millions of paying customers and hundreds of thousands of users browsing at any time.

• 6+ years of experience in Analytics Engineering, Data Engineering, or a similar data-focused engineering role.
• Strong hands-on experience with data modeling and schema design, including dimensional modeling, semantic layers, metrics, entities, and relationships.
• Excellent SQL skills and experience transforming raw data into clean, scalable analytical models.
• Experience owning or shaping analytics architecture and making technical decisions while remaining hands-on.
• Strong product and business understanding of data usage beyond storage.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with holistic product perspective.
• Confidence in cross-team collaboration, stakeholder management, and translating business needs into data solutions.
• Experience leading or guiding Data Analysts/Analytics Engineers is a plus.

• Become a founding member of Saily's Data team and lead building the entire vertical.
• Own data modeling and schema design across Saily.
• Transform raw, unmodeled data into clean, scalable data models.
• Build a semantic layer with consistent entities, relationships, metrics, and definitions.
• Make data accessible and understandable for people and AI.
• Own and evolve analytics infrastructure and tooling.
• Set standards for data quality, documentation, naming, and governance.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Marketing, and other teams to align data models with business operations.
• Help shape the Data Analytics operations as the company grows.
