DevOps Engineer (AWS, Python)

Prestigious position at one of the world’s largest banks working on stable, long-term projects in an international environment.

• Required skills: Python, AWS Services, CI/CD tooling including Jenkins, Git, Ansible
• Broad experience with many AWS services
• Strong belief in security as fundamental in an AWS context
• Practical understanding of DevOps practices and agile working methods (“you build it, you own it, you support it” mentality)
• Demonstrable enterprise infrastructure delivery success
• Good understanding of Linux and/or Windows operating systems
• Nice to have: experience in non-functional testing
• Nice to have: understanding of risk management and compliance with regulatory processes
• Nice to have: experience in a highly regulated industry
• Optional: Terraform

• Lead major incident investigations and provide on-call support
• Manage projects with junior colleagues
• Work with application teams to deploy applications to AWS
• Develop in Python and automate solutions
• Write Terraform scripts where required
• Upgrade existing and develop new security controls
• Enhance compliance dashboards
• Provide 24/7 global support and coverage (rotational)
• Balance development and support work with autonomy for creative initiatives
