FinOps Analyst

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis.
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with Finance and Technology/DevOps teams.
• Mandatory experience or strong willingness to learn AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio with approximately one year of AI exposure.
• Fluency in financial terminology: variance, budget, forecast, chargeback, cost center.
• Understanding of the FinOps framework and familiarity with cost management portals of major cloud vendors (AWS, Azure, GCP, Snowflake).
• Strong background in Power BI, including Power Query, SQL, and DAX for creating visualizations and dashboards.

Nice to have:

• Ability to write analytical expressions such as DAX and MDX.

• Serve as FinOps Lead for cloud product deployment projects, services, and R&D.
• Provide financial support on budget reconciliation, variance reports, and financial gap analysis.
• Lead monthly close processes and manage journal entries.
• Deliver high-quality analysis independently using tools such as MS Power BI.
• Analyze large datasets to identify cost control weaknesses or risks.
• Partner with engineering and finance to improve chargeback processes.
• Develop and maintain automated chargeback workflows.
• Visualize data and apply data insights using Power BI, Power Query, and analytical expressions like DAX and MDX.
