Middle Backend Developer (Node.js)

MasterBorn works with US clients from the high-end American IT market, involving projects for well-established companies and startups in early stages (MVPs) across industries such as FinTech, SportsTech, and MedTech.

• 2+ years commercial experience with Node.js
• Experience with at least one Node.js backend framework like Express.js, NestJS, or Fastify
• Strong proficiency with TypeScript, including static typing, advanced types, and compiler configuration
• Experience with SQL databases (using ORM/query builders like Prisma or Knex) and NoSQL or in-memory databases
• Familiarity with AI/LLM integration in backend features, including knowledge of context, prompts, limitations
• Use AI in daily development responsibly, adapting outputs for production quality
• English language proficiency at B2 level
• Polish language proficiency at C1 level
• Open-mindedness towards new challenges and frameworks
• Ability to prioritize MVP significance and pursue high-quality outcomes under tight deadlines
• Effective communication skills to translate business needs into technical solutions
• Strong problem-solving skills

Nice to have:

• Daily experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
• Basic experience with AWS and Docker
• Experience working at early product development stages

• Write readable, testable, and maintainable JavaScript/TypeScript code with an OOP approach
• Own backend features including implementation, testing, and deployment
