Senior Developer (Java / Scala / Kotlin)

Neula Solutions develops a SaaS platform for business process automation based on their proprietary low-code platform (Scala + Akka, Angular) with integration of language models (e.g., ChatGPT, Llama, Anthropic). Their clients include companies from the financial sector (medium to large institutions) and other industries such as retail, media, and the public sector.

• At least 5 years of backend development experience on JVM (Scala / Java / Kotlin)
• Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases and creating/integrating REST API
• Ability to select technologies and tools appropriately, beyond familiar solutions
• Proficiency in Polish and English for daily technical work

Nice to have:

• Knowledge of Scala and Akka
• Frontend programming skills (Angular, TypeScript)
• Experience building distributed systems (scaling and high availability)
• Familiarity with Linux server administration and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure)
• Experience working with LLM models
• Knowledge of low-code/BPMS platforms and business process automation

• Design and develop the backend platform Neula (Scala / Java, Akka)
• Ensure scalability, performance, and security of the system in a cloud environment
• Integrate LLM models with the platform (e.g., building RAG solutions, Agent systems)
• Participate in architectural and technical decisions by analyzing requirements and proposing solutions
