Senior Software Engineer – AI Focus

• 10+ years of experience in modern, product-oriented software engineering.
• Experience working on complex, distributed systems, ideally in e-commerce or similar domains.
• Backend-heavy but comfortable with fullstack development; strong in Java and familiarity with React (nice to have).
• Proficient in developing AI-first code with an emphasis on quality and control.
• Knowledge of AI system components like in-code ADRs, agent files, MCP integrations, multi-agent setups, and autonomous loops.
• Ability to align development processes with AI-driven workflows including automated PRs and AI-supported reviews.
• Strong foundation in testing, linting, and static code analysis for code quality.
• Experience with Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean Architecture, Hexagonal Architecture, Event-Driven Design, and SOLID principles.
• Advocate the "You build it, you own it" philosophy including infrastructure and CI/CD operations.
• Resilience and perseverance through complex problem-solving.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset valuing open learning culture.

• Work pragmatically in a small cross-functional team focused on a key company topic.
• Develop and scale a large project primarily using Java.
• Collaborate in an agile environment with a Product Manager, Team Lead, and 4-5 Engineers.
• Refine requirements and contribute actively to architecture, product decisions, and UX.
• Maintain and operate infrastructure and CI/CD systems under a “You build it, you own it” mindset.
• Build AI-first systems including in-code ADRs, agent files, MCP integrations, multi-agent setups, and autonomous loops.
• Align processes with AI including spec-driven refinements, automated PRs, and AI-supported reviews.
• Use deterministic quality gates like tests, linting, and static code analysis to ensure trustworthy AI-generated code.
• Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD), Clean/Hexagonal Architecture, Event-Driven Design, and SOLID principles.
