MS Database Administrator

• Active personnel security clearance at minimum EU CONFIDENTIAL level or equivalent national clearance allowing work from day one.
• Mandatory Microsoft certifications: Azure Database Administrator Associate and Fabric Data Engineer Associate.
• Higher education: at least Bachelor's degree (Level 6).
• Minimum 5 years of commercial IT experience, with at least 3 years as MS SQL Database Administrator.
• Fluent English language skills (minimum B2 level) verified formally.
• Proficiency in MS SQL administration and clustered environments (Always On).
• Practical knowledge of monitoring and optimization tools; experience with DBPlus Performance Monitor is a plus.
• Practical knowledge of virtualization and Microsoft Business Intelligence systems.

• Manage MS SQL Server databases in distributed architecture, including configuration and maintenance of High Availability solutions (Always On).
• Troubleshoot incidents as second-line support and optimize performance using SQL Profiler, Dynamic Management Views (DMVs), and Execution Plans.
• Manage data recovery models (Full, Simple, Bulk-Logged) and execute Disaster Recovery scenarios.
• Perform ETL processes within modern Microsoft ecosystems including Azure and Microsoft Fabric.
• Monitor capacity proactively and implement infrastructure changes following strict Change Management (ITIL) procedures.
• Participate in shared on-call rotations and provide occasional support during non-standard hours for maintenance.
