[C3C] Senior Python Engineer

• 5+ years of commercial experience with Python development with a strong focus on backend engineering.
• Strong experience building backend applications and REST APIs.
• Solid knowledge of SQL and experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience building data-intensive applications, data pipelines, or solutions processing large datasets.
• Strong understanding of software engineering best practices, testing, and clean code principles.

Nice to have:

• Experience with Databricks or other modern data platforms.
• Familiarity with event-driven architectures, asynchronous processing, and distributed systems.
• Hands-on experience with Azure services like Azure Container Apps or Batch Processing.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, e.g., Terraform.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and deployment automation.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted software development tools.

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and REST APIs using Python.
• Build scalable solutions for ingesting, processing, and transforming large datasets.
• Work with Microsoft Azure, including containerized workloads, batch processing, PostgreSQL, and event-driven architectures.
• Contribute to cloud-native architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Work with Databricks and modern data processing approaches.
• Collaborate with engineers on system design, data modelling, and platform improvements.
• Improve software quality through code reviews, automated testing, and mentoring less experienced developers.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, coding, testing, and technical analysis.
