[MSO] Senior OpenStack Engineer

• Minimum 6 years in infrastructure, virtualization, or cloud platforms, including 3 years with OpenStack in production.
• Experience designing OpenStack architecture with at least one full implementation.
• Strong command of core services: Nova, Neutron, Keystone, Glance, Cinder, Placement, Horizon, plus Octavia and Barbican.
• Deployment and upgrade experience with Kolla-Ansible, including playbook customization and containerized service lifecycle.
• Advanced Linux administration, KVM, libvirt virtualization, and container runtimes such as Docker.
• Troubleshooting experience with MariaDB, Galera, RabbitMQ, HAProxy, Keepalived, Redis, and Memcached.
• Solid cloud networking knowledge: OVN, Open vSwitch, GENEVE, VXLAN overlays, VLAN provider networks, NAT, and floating IPs.
• English language proficiency at C1 level.

Nice to have:

• Experience with VMware exit and migration programs towards OpenStack.
• Enterprise storage integration via Cinder drivers (e.g., NetApp ONTAP over NFS, or Ceph).
• Telco workloads on OpenStack: SR-IOV, DPDK, CPU pinning, huge pages, NUMA-aware scheduling.
• Experience with Terraform or OpenTofu, Kubernetes on OpenStack, GPU-enabled compute nodes.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow ITOM Discovery and CMDB model, or ITIL service models.
• Knowledge of sovereign cloud regulatory requirements in public sector and financial services.

• Own the platform architecture across control plane, compute, storage, and network, including high availability and resource sizing.
• Produce High Level Design, Low Level Design, as built documentation, and operational runbooks.
• Deploy and upgrade platforms with Kolla-Ansible, maintaining configuration as code in Git.
• Integrate storage, networking, identity, and load balancing services: Cinder, OVN, Open vSwitch, Keystone with OIDC federation, Octavia, and Barbican.
• Set up metrics and logging, and integrate with client ServiceNow CMDB.
• Run technical workshops, design reviews, and acceptance testing with clients.
• Act as third line escalation and lead root cause analysis for managed platforms.
• Support pre-sales as technical expert and provide guidance to engineering team.
