Lead Project Leader - Google Cloud AI Transformation

Nordea is a large Nordic bank focused on evolving finance securely and responsibly. The role is within the Core Technology Change & Delivery team responsible for project and programme management, execution, and governance of technology change initiatives across business and technology teams.

• Proven experience leading large-scale technology programmes and strategic transformation in cloud, data, or AI environments.
• Strong delivery and governance experience with Google Cloud Platform initiatives across technology domains.
• Deep understanding of Google Cloud Platform services, cloud foundations, platform engineering, and cloud operating models.
• Experience establishing scalable cloud and AI platform capabilities for enterprise AI adoption.
• Strong knowledge of AI technologies including Generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), agentic workflows, and AI orchestration frameworks.
• Ability to translate strategic roadmaps into executable delivery plans aligned with organizational priorities.
• Proven coordination of complex dependencies across architecture, cloud, security, identity, network, data, and business teams.
• Experience establishing governance structures such as decision forums and steering committees.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills to influence senior stakeholders.
• Understanding of platform-oriented delivery models, shared services, reusable capabilities, and self-service enablement.
• Knowledge of cloud security, resilience, scalability, operational readiness, and financial management.
• Ability to proactively manage delivery risks and drive successful outcomes.
• Strong financial, resource management, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
• Advanced presentation skills with Microsoft PowerPoint and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Can-do attitude.

• Lead end-to-end delivery of strategic GCP AI and cloud transformation programmes from ideation to value realization.
• Drive execution of Google Cloud and AI platform roadmaps aligning strategy, architecture, and delivery.
• Coordinate dependencies across architecture, cloud engineering, security, identity and access management, network, data, platform, and business teams.
• Deliver shared, reusable AI platform capabilities for scalable onboarding of use cases.
• Manage programme plans, milestones, budgets, resource allocation, risks, issues, and dependencies.
• Establish programme governance, decision forums, and reporting for senior stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture, security, regulatory, and operational requirements.
• Support development of a sustainable cloud operating model including platform ownership and cost transparency.
• Proactively identify delivery obstacles, resolve escalations, and drive organizational decisions.
• Promote a culture of ownership, transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.
