C++ Developer/ Embedded Software Engineer

• Minimum 7 years of commercial experience programming in C++, including embedded or system projects.
• Strong practical knowledge of C++ with experience in code analysis, refactoring, and optimization.
• Experience in development of firmware and/or embedded software.
• Practical experience with MQTT.
• Knowledge of CMake.
• Experience with OpenSSL and Protocol Buffers (Protobuf).
• Experience creating unit tests with GoogleTest and integration tests.
• Experience debugging and maintaining complex C++ applications.
• Experience with cross-platform solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proactive approach to tasks and technical collaboration.
• English language proficiency at level C1.

Nice to have:

• Practical knowledge of Qt and QML.
• Experience with Linux Embedded and cross-compilation processes.
• Knowledge of Yocto.
• Experience with CAN communication.
• Knowledge of qmake, Boost, Cucumber, or RapidCheck.
• Experience maintaining large, multilayer C++ projects.
• Knowledge of Felgo framework.
• Experience in projects related to Healthcare, Medical Devices, or IoT.

• Develop and maintain firmware and embedded components in C++ responsible for device communication and data preprocessing.
• Develop new functionalities, refactor existing code, and reduce technical debt.
• Maintain the desktop application based on C++, Qt, and QML, focusing on critical fixes.
• Develop communication modules using MQTT and integrate with devices and IoT ecosystem.
• Work with device communication including CAN bus.
• Implement logic and data processing mechanisms in application and embedded layers.
• Develop components using shared memory and IPC mechanisms.
• Maintain and develop projects using CMake and qmake.
• Create and develop unit and integration tests and debug complex C++ applications.
• Analyze existing code, identify issues, propose and implement optimizations.
• Collaborate with architect and Backend, Flutter, Frontend, QA, and DevOps teams.
• Project location: Wrocław.
• Service delivery model: remote.
• Project budget: up to 150 PLN/h + VAT depending on experience and services scope.
