Mid-Level QA Analyst with Automation

• Proven experience in software testing / QA (2-4 years)
• Strong knowledge of test design techniques
• Experience contributing to QA standards, processes, or continuous improvement initiatives
• Strong analytical skills and ability to understand complex systems and integrations
• Ability to perform root cause analysis and problem-solving
• Commercial experience in test automation (preferably backend/API)
• Experience with SQL, data validation and integrations
• Excellent communication skills
• Experience working in cross-functional and international teams
• Understanding of SDLC and delivery methodologies with experience across full delivery lifecycle (design to release)
• English language proficiency at minimum B2 level (written and spoken)
• Ability to balance quality, timelines, and business priorities
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools (e.g. TestRail, Jira)

Nice to have:

• Experience in insurance or financial systems
• Practical Python skills
• Practical knowledge of BDD approach
• Experience in internal tooling development to support automated testing
• Knowledge of AI-based testing approaches and tools

Quality Assurance & Testing:

• Analyse requirements and identify test scenarios
• Design and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end manual tests
• Verify final products meet business and technical requirements
• Perform exploratory testing to uncover unexpected issues

Test Automation Development & Tooling:

• Develop, maintain, and enhance automated test scripts using Behaviour Driven Development (BDD) approach
• Identify suitable candidates for automation
• Build reusable and scalable automation solutions
• Ensure automated tests are reliable, maintainable, and provide meaningful feedback
• Contribute to or maintain automation frameworks and internal tooling

Defect management:

• Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects
• Perform root cause analysis
• Verify fixes and assess regression impact
• Work closely with Business Analysts and Developers to resolve issues

Technical Validation:

• Validate APIs, databases, services, and integrations
• Review logs and technical outputs to investigate failures
• Prepare test data and support test environment readiness validation
• Ensure data integrity between systems

Collaboration:

• Work with Business Analysts, Developers, and other stakeholders
• Clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
• Provide testing status, quality risks, and recommendations
• Participate in project meetings

Continuous improvement:

• Improve test coverage and testing processes
• Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency gains
• Promote quality best practices within the team
• Contribute to documentation and knowledge sharing
