Mid-Level QA Analyst

• Proven experience in software testing and quality assurance at a mid-level
• Strong knowledge of test design techniques and methodologies
• Good understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and delivery methodologies
• Experience with test management and defect tracking tools such as TestRail and Jira
• Experience contributing to QA standards, processes, and continuous improvement
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities with ownership of quality outcomes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for understanding complex systems
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality solutions
• Excellent communication skills for collaboration with remote and distributed teams
• Fluency in spoken and written English at a minimum B2 level

• Knowledge of QA best practices and test management approaches
• Experience with insurance or financial systems
• Experience with SQL, data validation, and system integrations
• Experience with API testing tools and service integration testing

• Reviewing requirements and specifications for testability, completeness, and clarity

• Performing functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing
• Identifying, assessing, and escalating risks, dependencies, and blockers
• Analyzing defects including root cause analysis and impact assessment
• Managing defects through verification and retesting
• Driving QA standards, best practices, and methodologies
• Improving testing processes, tools, and documentation
• Supporting adoption of automated testing approaches
• Sharing knowledge and mentoring junior QA members
• Participating in design and requirement reviews with quality-focused feedback
• Preparing and communicating test progress, quality metrics, and risk assessments
• Collaborating with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders
• Contributing to test planning, release readiness, and quality assurance activities
• Identifying opportunities to improve product quality and reduce testing risks
