Senior Software Engineer (Kong API Gateway)

EPAM Systems is hiring for a senior software engineering role focused on working with the Kong Gateway and Kong Konnect platforms. The position is based in Łódź, Poland, at ul. Ogrodowa 8, Floor 6, and involves advanced software development tasks in cloud and API management domains.

• Proficient in Kong Gateway and Kong Konnect with advanced proficiency
• Strong experience with Node.js development
• Knowledge of AWS Lambda and serverless architectures
• Experience with REST APIs design and development
• Familiarity with Python is an advantage
• Understanding of GitOPS practices
• Experience using Splunk for monitoring and logging
• Fluent in English (B2 level)

• Develop and maintain Kong Gateway and Kong Konnect configurations and integrations
• Build, test, and deploy REST APIs using Node.js
• Implement serverless solutions using AWS Lambda
• Apply GitOPS practices for infrastructure and deployment management
• Monitor and analyze system logs and performance using Splunk
