• Excellent hands-on experience administering and maintaining the ServiceNow platform (on-premises experience is advantageous).
• Excellent hands-on experience configuring the ServiceNow platform (ITSM and others).
• Practical experience designing ServiceNow platform solutions.
• Experience with requirements gathering, analysis, and project management.
• Excellent knowledge of the ServiceNow product portfolio and service management.
• Experience creating SOPs and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of key technologies for ServiceNow integration including Web Services, SSO, LDAP, REST.
• Well-understood complex information systems and their interoperability.
• Knowledge of IT security standards.
• Required certifications:
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer certificate.
  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator certificate or equivalent internationally recognized alternative.
• Minimum education Level 4 (or equivalent).
• Minimum English language proficiency B2 (CEFR).
• At least 5 years of IT-relevant professional experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
• Required security clearance: CONFIDENTIAL UE/EU CONFIDENTIAL level, with screening initiated within first 45 days of assignment.

ServiceNow Platform Development:

• Implement new configurations and customizations of the ServiceNow platform.
• Analyze and advise on requests for new functionalities.
• Test and validate proposed changes.
• Write and implement code for the ServiceNow platform.
• Run development projects in cooperation with ServiceNow Architect and Administrator.
• Perform application and code reviews.
• Maintain up-to-date solution documentation including technical documentation, SOPs, user manuals, and knowledge base articles.

ServiceNow Platform Maintenance:

• Manage and maintain the ServiceNow instance including files and services (binaries, configuration, keystores, Tomcat, Java, backup, performance tuning).
• Keep ServiceNow up to date with upgrades and patches.
• Ensure proper integration of ServiceNow with other systems.
• Manage and maintain MariaDB database files and services used by ServiceNow.
• Provide daily support including implementing standard changes.
• Analyze and resolve application-related incidents and perform bug fixes.

ServiceNow Platform Improvements:

• Provide recommendations for business requirements and contribute to technical designs.
• Support the ServiceNow Architect and Administrator in solution architecture and administration.
• Support ServiceNow project planning.
• Assist other teams in risk management, disaster recovery, and security management.

Security Clearance: Required (CONFIDENTIAL UE/EU CONFIDENTIAL level). Security screening procedure must be initiated within the first 45 days of assignment.
