Java Developer

ITFS offers a stable company position with a developing and interesting project. The work location is hybrid across Warsaw, Łódź, and Katowice.

• Minimum 5 years of commercial experience as a Java Backend Developer
• Very good knowledge of Java 17+, Spring Framework, and Spring Boot 3.x
• Practical knowledge of messaging solutions: ActiveMQ/JMS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ
• Experience working with databases and SQL
• Experience with containerization and runtime platforms (Red Hat OpenShift, Kubernetes)
• Knowledge of testing techniques including JUnit and related libraries
• Awareness of secure application development principles and common vulnerabilities
• Knowledge of OOP, design patterns, and clean code principles
• Basic knowledge of observability (logging and metrics)
• English language proficiency at minimum B2/C1 level

Nice to have:

• Experience working with Nasdaq Calypso software

• Developing and expanding backend layer using Java 17+, Spring, and Spring Boot 3.x
• Integrating and maintaining components based on messaging systems (ActiveMQ/JMS, Kafka, or RabbitMQ)
• Working with databases using SQL
• Writing and maintaining unit, integration, and functional automated tests
• Applying best practices in code security, clean code, OOP, and design patterns
• Supporting observability by configuring logging and metrics
• Proactive cooperation with the project team and effective communication in English
