Ruby on Rails Developer

• 2–4 years of professional software development experience with production applications
• Strong experience with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
• Good knowledge and practical experience with PostgreSQL and relational databases
• Good working knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and CSS including frontend development
• Experience designing and working with REST APIs and third-party integrations
• Practical understanding of application performance, database queries, caching, and common production issues
• Experience writing and maintaining tests with RSpec
• Ability to investigate bugs and production issues independently
• Good understanding of software engineering fundamentals and ability to write maintainable, readable code
• Good written and spoken English for day-to-day communication in an international team

Nice to have:

• Experience with background jobs and asynchronous processing, ideally Sidekiq and Redis
• Comfortable using AI-assisted development tools as part of the development workflow

• Developing and maintaining production web applications using Ruby on Rails
• Working with PostgreSQL and relational databases
