Senior Full-Stack Engineer

• Production experience with TypeScript and Node.js.
• Strong preference for experience with NestJS as the main backend framework.
• Expertise in backend system design at high scale focusing on autoscaling, high availability, performance, resilience, and managing failure modes.
• Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with event-driven systems, specifically Kafka for ingestion and streaming.
• Deep skills in PostgreSQL and SQL including schema modeling and query optimization.
• Working knowledge of Redis.
• Familiarity with production environments using AWS and Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with monitoring and debugging production systems via logs, metrics, and tracing.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with security domains including application security, runtime protection, and vulnerability management.
• Prior experience with data-intensive security platforms or similar high-scale systems.

• Design and implement high-scale backend systems with a focus on autoscaling, high availability (HA), performance, resilience, and failure modes.
• Build Kafka-based ingestion and streaming pipelines, including working with producers, consumers, and batching concepts.
• Model schemas and optimize queries in PostgreSQL and SQL.
• Operate and monitor production systems using logs, metrics, and tracing.
• Occasionally work on frontend tasks like small UI features or new pages.
