Senior Software Engineer

The company is building an AI video security platform that understands video data, founded in 2021, backed by tier-one Silicon Valley investors, and has deployed over 50k cameras. It operates in the video security space with a hybrid edge-cloud architecture.

• Strong proficiency in at least one or ideally two of these: Go, Rust, TypeScript
• Proven experience with multithreaded & concurrent programming in real parallel systems
• Performance profiling and optimization for CPU/memory management under production load on dedicated hardware
• Experience with Docker and containerization for deploying/managing containerized workloads
• Experience building for resource-constrained edge computing or embedded systems
• Solid fundamentals in networking and distributed systems for reliable communication between edge and cloud
• Experience designing low-latency real-time systems

• Video streaming and pipeline development
• Storage systems and data management at the edge
• Cloud services integration (AWS S3, GCP, MQTT, Kafka)
• AI/ML model deployment on edge devices
• Security concepts including encryption, secure communication, zero trust

• Contribute to the core edge platform running across diverse hardware in a hybrid edge-cloud architecture
• Develop and integrate video management capabilities including streaming, recording, real-time AI processing
• Design and optimize for low-latency, high-performance workloads at the edge
• Build secure, efficient communication pipelines between edge devices and cloud systems
• Work with AI/ML engineers to deploy and optimize on-device models
• Own performance under load by profiling CPU/memory and fixing bottlenecks
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and performance tuning across the stack
