Software Engineering Technical Leader

Cisco's Webex Engineering Group builds collaboration technology powering products like Slido, Webex Meetings, Webex Calling, and Webex Contact Center. The team operates in Bratislava with a hybrid working model.

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical field.
• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience focused on enterprise-grade systems.
• Expertise in modern web technologies, scalable API design, and cloud-native architectures.
• Proven success delivering complex software solutions in SaaS or cloud environments.
• Experience leading technical projects and managing cross-functional team dynamics.

• Proven technical leadership and architectural influence across engineering teams.
• Experience aligning strategy across complex, cross-functional organizations.
• Background in architecting or managing large-scale B2B or partner-facing portals.
• Deep understanding of agile methodologies and advanced DevOps practices.
• Experience with Webex or similar enterprise collaboration platforms.
• Passion for mentoring, coaching, and developing technical talent.
• Strong communication skills for articulating complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.

• Drive design, strategy, and execution of platform enhancements and features for the Webex Partner Hub.
• Provide architectural oversight and conduct code reviews to maintain system performance, scalability, and maintainability.
• Facilitate collaboration between Product Management, UX, and engineering teams for seamless delivery.
• Champion best practices in CI/CD, security, observability, and automated testing.
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers to foster continuous learning and advancement.
• Identify and resolve system-wide technical bottlenecks to ensure reliability and stability.
