Senior Security Engineer - Isovalent

• Technical background in information security or related field with significant knowledge of Linux security concepts.
• Significant experience in automating security processes using Go, Python, Bash, or IaC tools such as Terraform.
• Experience identifying, validating, and organizing security vulnerabilities.
• Demonstrable experience leading security projects from design to delivery.
• Excellent organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Background in network security.
• Experience integrating LLMs into security scanning pipelines.
• Experience configuring fuzzers and/or DAST scanning tools.
• Familiarity with Kubernetes and cloud environments such as AWS, Azure, GCP.

• Ensure that Isovalent applies industry-leading security practices in software development lifecycle.
• Build and deploy tools to detect vulnerabilities in Isovalent software.
• Tune security tools to focus on the most valuable signals.
• Provide consistency to development teams to follow uniform security processes.
• Triage findings from sources including LLMs, SAST/DAST scanners, cloud security scanners, external reports, and pentests.
• Continuously improve security processes focusing on impactful security issues using metrics.
• Partner with development, release, and security teams to address vulnerabilities promptly and document security posture.
• Advocate for security best practices across teams.
