Software Engineer (Java)

• Demonstrable experience in backend development with fluency in Java
• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or related Engineering/Science disciplines
• Ambitious, quick learner with excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
• Proven track record building complex products in hypergrowth startup environments

• Focus on greenfield development and improvement of existing systems
• Build REST APIs and engineer microservices
• Evolve critical business systems such as card payments, treasury management, transaction booking, and crypto liquidity
• Develop backend using predominantly Java 25 and Postgres
• Utilize Spring Boot for delivery
• Apply clean code practices emphasizing maintainability and use TDD, DDD, and continuous integration & delivery
