Microsoft Database Administrator (SQL & Fabric) (m/f/n)

For our Partner delivering services to a European Union organization operating in the defence sector, this role is part of a long-term international project based in Warsaw. The position involves working in a highly secure and technologically advanced environment supporting critical Microsoft database services.

• Minimum English language skills (CEFR): B2
• Minimum 5 years of relevant IT professional experience
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position
• Personal Security Clearance is required (security screening procedure must be initiated within the first 45 days of assignment)
• Experienced in administration of complex MS SQL based systems in distributed environments
• Expert in optimizing, tuning and capacity planning of databases
• Experience in scripting MS SQL databases, data transformations, and ETL tools including cloud services
• Experience in design, implementation and maintenance of Microsoft Business Intelligence on-premises tools and services
• Experience in design, implementation and maintenance of Microsoft Fabric tools and services
• Hands-on experience in monitoring systems
• Hands-on experience in administering virtual infrastructure
• Basic knowledge in administering other Microsoft systems
• Experience in working in restricted environments
• Knowledge of DBPlus Performance Monitor application
• Creating and managing Always On deployments
• Mastery of recovery models (Full, Simple, Bulk-Logged) and disaster recovery methodologies
• Expertise in using SQL Profiler, Execution Plans, and Dynamic Management Views (DMVs) to diagnose and resolve performance bottlenecks
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate
• Microsoft Certified: Fabric Data Engineer Associate
• Equivalent industry-recognized certifications may be considered

• Ability to cope with fast changing technologies
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to explain technologies and business concepts to multiple audiences
