APM Release Manager & Coordinator

Genuine Parts Company (GPC) is a leading specialty distributor of automotive and industrial replacement parts headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, operating globally with over 10,000 locations and 60,000 employees. The GPC Global Technology Center in Krakow, established in 2022, is an R&D facility supporting GPC's digital transformation and focused on advanced technologies in e-commerce, data platforms, supply chain solutions, selling systems, and cyber security.

• Proven experience as a Release Manager, Release Coordinator or similar role
• Ability to work outside typical business hours (evenings CET) due to production deployments
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in project management tools, especially JIRA and Confluence

Release Management:

• Define and document release and production change standards compliant with ITIL v3
• Ensure alignment of release and change management processes across departments including Compliance
• Coordinate dependencies within and between teams
• Analyze existing processes and propose improvements
• Maintain and update Production Readiness Review content, Confluence release and communication templates
• Own and publish release and change calendar
• Communicate outcomes of meetings and release/change results
• Serve as primary contact for clients regarding change initiatives
• Keep RACI lists updated for release, change, and communications

Release Coordination:

• Collaborate with Product and Development teams to determine release versions and dates
• Create and manage content on Confluence release pages
• Create Production Readiness Review tasks and oversee their completion
• Schedule Go/No-Go and release meetings, including coordinating a release “war room”
• Publish Go/No-Go results including PRR review outcomes, release contents, risk and confidence statements
• Manage all release communications and channels during release as per Communications RACI framework
• Communicate upcoming changes and releases to EU CAB
• Document and publish production testing evidence
• Declare releases as “positively released” or document reasons for aborted releases including bugs and rollback results
