Senior Project Manager for Big Data Platform

The role involves managing large-scale Big Data platform migration or vendor replacement projects within the Hadoop/Cloudera domain specifically in the banking industry.

• Proven track record in leading large-scale platform migration or vendor replacement projects within the Hadoop/Cloudera domain.
• Strong risk and issue management skills.
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail; ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
• Excellent communication skills, adept at engaging stakeholders and driving follow-ups.
• Exceptional stakeholder and executive management skills.
• Fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Demonstrated ownership of projects with a proactive, can-do attitude.

• Coordinate the vendor change as project manager.
• Plan and manage delivery activities, including timelines, dependencies, resources, and risks.
• Plan and manage the project budget and financial forecasting.
• Monitor delivery progress and risks, proactively identifying issues and escalating when necessary.
• Promote a strong delivery culture through disciplined project management.
• Facilitate project team meetings.
• Conduct progress reporting and SteerCo reporting.

Rate: 170 pln/h. Work model: Hybrid - 2 times per week from the office (Warsaw, Gdynia or Gdansk).
